Aleran Unified Commerce Platform provides a powerful set of promotions that you can use to create interest and generate sales with customers. Managing B2B promotions in OneMart promotions is straight forward. You will start by utilizing the promotions widget in OneMart site builder.
By default, the promotion page is created, and the widget is added where you can control the settings for the promotions page like the background color, font color, background image and add colors to your promotion tiles backgrounds.
You can also choose a banner image, title, description and change banner text fonts and colors.
You can control the promotions page link in the header widget on the main page. You have the option to show or remove the link to the promotions page as well as the ability to name the title and choose the link type and page.
Once the page is launched and ready, when your customers click on the promotions link, they will be able to see a list of promotions organized by brand. The promotions displayed are those which are active based on the start and end date of the promotion as setup in RepDesk as well as those scheduled to be active the next calendar month. They will also be able to search by brand name or jump to a promotion section based on the first letter in the brand name. On the promotion tile, they will see the promotion name, code, end date if provided and whether the promotion can be combined with other promotions or not.
If the customer clicks on the ’Show more’ link on the tile they will get a pop up with more details for that promotion:
Another interesting feature in One Mart promotions is that it links seamlessly to the Brands page. So, if there is a promotion that is associated with a brand, once your customer visits the brand page, they will be able to see all associated promotions. They will see the promo code, the end date of the promotion and whether the promotion can be combined with other promotions or not.
Now for applying the promotion to the order in OneMart. Once the customer reaches the checkout page with a promotion code ready, they can easily enter it in the promotion section. If the setup of the promotion allows for combining more than one promotion, the customer can enter more than one promo code and click the apply button to see it added and how it applies to the order totals.
If a promo code’s date is not active yet, the user will get a message on the start date for the validity of that promo code.
If a promo code was successfully added and the customer removes applicable items from the order, the customer will get a message that the promo is no longer applicable and that it will be removed from the order.
