Customer Data Integration
The QuickBooks Online and NetSuite integration available in VendorDesk now includes customer data. When connected, you will now see the ability to synchronize customer data from these ERP systems with VendorDesk and share customer data with sales agencies on RepDesk.
Once connected to QuickBooks Online or NetSuite, go to Settings > Aleran Connect and make sure Customer Export is enabled on the Configure tab:
Once enabled, you can load customer data from your ERP system from Aleran Connect > Initialize tab or from the Customer menu item on the left and then going to File – Integrate. You may choose to perform this step manually on a periodic basis to ensure updates to customer data in these ERP systems are reflected in VendorDesk
If you receive an order for a customer which does not yet exist in your ERP system, the integration will create the new customer record which will streamline the flow of orders, invoices, and payments to ensure these transactions are associated with the correct customer data.
