Feature Enhancements
- Customer specific pay terms and shipping terms by vendor
In addition to specifying a customer id and Pricing Level for a Vendor, you can now also specify, the payment terms and shipping terms for that vendor. You can select one or all the payment terms/shipping terms that the vendor supports. You can also make one of these as the default, shown below with a “green” checkmark
- Automatically check the “No further commissions Expected” checkbox
A new section called “No further Commissions Expected Threshold” has been added to My OrganizationàCommissions/Locations. This section has two fields, Fulfilment Rate in Percentage and Sale Amount. This feature works as follows
- Fulfillment Rate = 0
Sale Amount = 0
Commissions will work as they are currently
- Fulfillment Rate = 0
Sale Amount > 0
Commissions will work as they are currently
- Fulfillment Rate > 0
Sale Amount = 0
All orders are checked to see if the Invoice Amount/Sale Order Amount is greater than the threshold. If it is then the “No further Commissions Expected” checkbox is checked
- Fulfillment Rate > 0
Sale Amount > 0
Only orders whose sale order amount is less than the sale amount will be checked to see if the Invoice Amount/Sale Order Amount is greater than the threshold. If it is then the “No further Commissions Expected” checkbox is checked.
- Add an additional % of the commission split for a rep by a vendor
In the Vendor screen, you can now add an additional commission split percentage for one or more reps. When a sale order is created for a vendor that has specific reps with a commission percentage, then the corresponding split percentage is reduced from the House Account and assigned to the this rep.
Example 1:
If the commission split on a sale with vendor Vendor 1 is as follows
Rep1 – 60%
House – 40%
On Vendor1 if, Rep1 has a commission % of 10%, then the new split will be as follows
Rep1 – 70%
House – 30%
Example 2:
If the commission split on a sale with vendor Vendor 1 is as follows
Rep1 – 60%
House – 40%
On Vendor1 if, Rep2 has a commission % of 10%, then the new split will be as follows
Rep1 – 60%
Rep2 – 10%
House – 30%
