- Payment Processing
Credit Cards are tokenized using Aleran Payment Processor. When a credit card is entered on a sale, and if the vendor has subscribed to Aleran Payment Processor, the customer credit cards are automatically tokenized as shown below
Credit Cards that are entered under a customer are also tokenized if the vendor has subscribed to Aleran Payment Processor as shown below
When a sales order is submitted to a vendor, the vendor is able to charge the card by clicking on the charge link in their email or through VendorDesk
Depending on if the credit card charge was successful or not, the following screens will be displayed
If the vendor has subscribed to VendorDesk, the credit card can be charged in VendorDesk as shown below
An email notification is also sent for a successful transaction to both the vendor and the customer
An email notification is also sent for a failed transaction to both the vendor and the customer
All activity related to the charging of the credit card is captured in the Communications tab of a Sale Order.
